LS Geo was asked to do a 3D comparative analysis of a very sensative infrastructure's retaining wall. Due to ground swell, a critical retaining wall partially collapsed. This disctated that LS Geo capture milimeter level precision when creating 3D models of the entire 100 acre facility. 

Due to the extrememly sensative nature of the facility, both information security as well as discression were required. Our crew worked hard to capture the facility in a single day during our first visit. After a heavy rain occured, our crew visited the site again to capture the comparative scans. as predicted, the retaining walls and support structres showed signs of swell and we were able to pass the exact location, amount, and trend on to the client. This saved millions of dollar for the client becuase they were able to see exactly where the swelling was and was not occuring.
