When the Department of Defense needs an area mapped, you better beleive it needs to be done well, done fast, and done with maximum acuuracies. The team at LS Geo conducted an extensive mapping and topographic survey of the Franklin Mountain Range outside of Fort Bliss. With elevations reaching over 6,000ft and sheer cliffs in some areas, conventional surveying wasn't going to cut it. We put out experienced drone team on it with our top-of-the-line LiDAR scanner. After days in the field, DoD had the sinlge most comprehenive topography ever done in the area. 

This job is a stellar example of what can be done with the right equipment and know-how. Several thousand acres captured during each day. We acheived an average accuracy of less than 1 inch.
