Creating a detailed topography for a track 8 miles long is difficult. Doing that around complex and dangerous oil and gas infrastructure is nearly impossible.

LS Geo was secured to complete a topo of a track being assessed for a water line. The bulk of the area was through densely wooded areas and through existing critical infrastructure. What made matters more difficult for our client was that the resolution of the topo needed to be 3ft. This type of topo would have put field crews in direct harm from the surrounding oil and gas operations.

LS Geo was able to complete the entire scan in 2 days and deliver a highly detailed topo survey in 3 days. This kept workers out of harm’s way and saved our client tens of thousands of dollars.
